Fast Pace Health opens new urgent care clinic in Asheboro

ASHEBORO — Fast Pace Health opened a new walk-In urgent care clinic at 508 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, on Monday, Sept. 15.

The convenient Fast Pace Health location across the street from Randolph Health will be open seven days a week with extended weekday and weekend hours for current residents and surrounding Randolph County communities. 

The community was invited to join Fast Pace Health officials and the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce for 

a Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 11:30 a.m.

The clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed on weekends.

Officials said the new facility was designed with health needs and convenience in mind and features multiple exam rooms, on-site labs, x-ray capabilities, medication prescriptions and refills.

“Our mission to improve the health of those we serve remains true, and we aim to bring that commitment of providing a comfortable, stress-free, and professional health care experience to Asheboro, NC,” Fast Pace Health CEO Greg Steilsaid in a press release. “Our staff of experienced clinicians will provide comprehensive health services that meet the needs of the community.”

The Asheboro location is part of an expanding Fast Pace network of clinics established in more than 295 communities across Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Indiana, Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina and Louisiana.

According to the website, in addition to walk-in urgent care, the clinic will also offer a comprehensive range of health services, including treatment for conditions like flu, asthma, eye irritations, minor fractures and more. And it caters to preventive healthcare needs with services like sports physicals and wellness checks.
