Goodwill Industries opens Ramseur location

RAMSEUR — On Friday, Dec. 12, Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina, Inc. (Triad Goodwill) held a grand opening for its new Retail Store and Donation Center at 6525 Jordan Road in Ramseur, in the former Walgreens building.

Like all Triad Goodwill retail stores and e-commerce site, 85 cents of every dollar spent at this store goes back to the non-profit’s mission of improving lives and enriching communities through the power of work.

The new center will employ approximately 11 local, full-time and part-time team members and provide volunteer opportunities year-round. 

The store will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for shopping; the donation center will close at 6 p.m. On Sundays, the retail store and donation center will be open from 1 to 6 p.m.

In the past year, Triad Goodwill served 3,053 people in the community and helped place 340 workers in competitive employment with an average job placement pay upon entry at $16.49.
