Mental Health care provider opens new office in Asheboro

ASHEBORO — Blueprint Counseling, PLLC, has opened a new office at 119 East Kivett Street in Asheboro, offering both in-person and virtual therapy options in an effort to make counseling accessible for all.

The name Blueprint Counseling reflects the agency’s belief that everyone deserves a clear plan for healing and hope. Just as a blueprint lays out the design for a strong structure, the practice helps individuals and families build foundations for resilience and growth.

“We believe counseling should give people a framework they can lean on when life feels uncertain,” Desiree Lambert, owner of Blueprint Counseling, said in a press release. “It’s about creating space for new beginnings and lasting stability.”

Blueprint serves clients of all ages and needs, with a focus on making care available for everyone.

The press release also noted that the practice offers specialized programs

for children and youth, including trauma recovery and a Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB) program that provides evidence-based, family-centered therapy — all services designed to help young people and their families address concerns early, reduce harm and build healthier futures.

At a time when Medicaid funding cuts and limited local resources are straining access to care, Blueprint Counseling is stepping in to ensure families in Randolph County and surrounding areas have somewhere to turn, Lambert said.

“Mental health care should not be out of reach,” she added. “Whether in our new office or through secure virtual sessions, we are here for everybody.”
