Randolph Economic Outlook session to bring national perspective to Randolph County

ASHEBORO — The Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce and the Randolph County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC) will co-host the Randolph Economic Outlook: Economic Insights That Matter on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, bringing a nationally recognized economic and financial expert to Randolph County to share insight into the forces shaping today’s economy and what they could mean for businesses, investors and the community.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Christopher Geczy, a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and one of the world’s leading experts in investment management, financial markets and wealth management.

Geczy has been a member of the Wharton faculty since 1997 and serves as Academic Director of the Wharton Wealth Management Initiative and the Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research. With more than two decades of experience in financial research, education and advising, he has worked with institutional investors, financial professionals and global organizations on portfolio construction, risk management, market behavior and investment strategy.

In addition to his academic leadership, Geczy is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Forefront Analytics, where he advises institutional investors, pension funds, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients. His work brings together academic research and practical financial decision-making, offering a unique perspective on today’s rapidly changing economic environment.

During the Randolph Economic Outlook, Geczy will examine the current economic landscape, explore trends influencing global financial markets and discuss what those trends could mean for businesses and investors in the months ahead. The presentation

will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to participate in a live question-and-answer session.

“Understanding the economic forces shaping our businesses and our community is increasingly important,” said Adam Deathe, President and CEO of the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce. “The Randolph Economic Outlook gives business and community leaders an opportunity to hear directly from an internationally respected expert and to take that insight back to their organizations.
