The She Shack Boutique is Asheboro's Next Great Pop-Up Shop winner

ASHEBORO – The Asheboro Mall has announced the results of its first-ever search for Asheboro’s Next Great Pop-Up Shop, in partnership with the American Dream Project. The She Shack Boutique, a locally owned women’s shop, was named the winner and will receive a 12-week pop-up shop in the Mall this fall.

“The Asheboro area is home to so many talented business owners and entrepreneurs. We have enjoyed getting to know all the applicants interested in popping open a store for the holiday season. There were so many exciting ideas that made it difficult to choose just one winner. We are thrilled to be working with The She Shack Boutique to bring their dream storefront to life in the Asheboro Mall. We were inspired by their passion and drive to expand their business,” said Lindsey Mueller, Director of the American Dream Project. “There are so many possibilities for small business growth at the Asheboro Mall and we are excited for what’s ahead.”

She Shop owner Madison Garris added "When I opened my first boutique at 18 years old, I had no idea what I was getting into. Since then, I have been consumed by the chaos of owning a small business, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being chosen to work with this amazing program to expand my business proves dreams do come true! I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me, and I am beyond blessed to know that the American Dream Project saw my potential.”

The search for Asheboro’s Next Great Pop-Up is a partnership with the American Dream Project, an initiative that connects entrepreneurs with brick-and-mortar spaces. The She Shack Boutique was awarded a retail space in the Mall and a cash prize to be used for the design and build-out of their dream space.
