ASHEBORO — Imagine a school where flexibility meets innovation, where students receive a high-quality education while learning in a way that best fits their individual needs.
Blue Comet Global Academy is a new virtual learning opportunity from Asheboro City Schools designed for students who thrive in a personalized, technology-rich environment while remaining connected to their school community.
Opening in January 2027, Blue Comet Global Academy will initially serve students in grades 9-12, with plans to expand and include grades 6-8 in the future. The academy will offer rigorous academics, dedicated teachers, personalized support and opportunities for students to connect through face-to-face enrichment activities, special events, clubs and community experiences. Whether students are seeking greater flexibility, advanced academic opportunities, a different learning environment or a pathway that better fits their goals, Blue Comet Global Academy is designed to help every learner succeed.
Right now, ACS seeks feedback from its families to better understand the interests and needs of students. Scanning the QR code above will take you to a short survey to gauge which areas your students are most interested in.
ACS said information gathered through this survey will be kept anonymous and will be used solely to assist with the planning and development of Blue Comet Global Academy.
