Buzzing BEE winners for spring

Three elementary teachers from the Randolph County School System were recently awarded The Buzzing BEE certificate by the Alpha Upsilon chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International for the spring semester of the 2025-2026 school year. 

The certificate is awarded to teachers who are in their first, second or third year of teaching and recognizes excellence in education. The acronym BEE means Beginning Educator Excelling. Candidates are nominated by their principal. 

The three recipients receiving this recognition for the spring semester are as follows: LeeAnn Taylor, who teaches at Trinity Elementary, Jessica White of Ramseur Elementary, and Rikki Callicutt of Southmont Elementary.
