Doubles shuffleboard starting for seniors

ASHEBORO — Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services is offering a Shuffleboard Doubles League for adults ages 50 or better this summer.  

Not completely sure how to play or keep score? Don’t worry. All the rules will be explained and all the needed equipment provided.

The local league is available for men and women. Partners can be comprised of two males, two females or one male and one female.  

This league will take place on Tuesday mornings during the months of May and June. There will be a set schedule of games and times culminating with a tournament at the end of the season to determine thefirst, second and third place teams.

A league T-shirt is included in the registration fee of $10 per person.  

Registration is required in advance and space is limited.

Individuals must pre-register online at https://asheborocrs.recdesk.com/Community/Program or at the Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services office located at 241 Sunset Avenue. The registration deadline is Tuesday, May 16.
