Fireworks and Festivities Across Randolph County

ASHEBORO— Randolph County’s Fourth of July festivities begin early this year, with Asheboro, Archdale, and Randleman offering fireworks, live entertainment, and more. Here is the list of events.

July 2

 

Asheboro Zookeepers — Energizer Fireworks Extravaganza

WHEN - Wednesday, July 2, gates open at 4:30 p.m. / game starts 6:30 p.m.
WHERE - McCrary Ballpark (138 Southway Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205)
FIREWORKS - Following the game
 

Kick off your holiday early with a night at the ballpark. The Asheboro ZooKeepers face the Florence Flamingos. Tickets available at zookeepersbaseball.com or at the gate (subject to availability). 

Traffic around the ballpark will follow a modified pattern. See the map below. Also be aware of increased traffic around Sunset Ave the interchange starting around dusk as well as areas around the park after dark as spectators gather to watch the show.

July 4

 

Fourth of July Celebration at Creekside Park
 

WHEN - Friday, July 4, starting at 5:30 p.m.
WHERE - Creekside Park
FIREWORKS - After dark (Rain make-up date Saturday, July 5)

Enjoy an evening of food, music, and fireworks at Archdale’s annual 4th of July celebration. Food trucks and music by Walden Sound Systems begin at 6:00 p.m., with inflatables and family-friendly fun leading up to the fireworks show after dark. Vehicle access to the park will be closed until 2:00 p.m. for setup. Cash is recommended for vendors.

July 5


Fun 5th at Commerce Square

WHEN - Saturday, July 5, starting at 5 p.m.
WHERE - Commerce Square (128 Commerce Square Randleman, NC 27317)
FIREWORKS - 9 p.m.

Come enjoy the day after Independence Day in Randleman with music by the Cumberland Drive Band. Fireworks, food, and live music. Fireworks will follow the festivities at dusk. Make plans to have a great time!

July 12


Liberty’s July Festival

WHEN - Saturday, July 12, from 4-10 p.m.
WHERE - Downtown Liberty (N. Fayetteville Street)
FIREWORKS - Fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m.

Liberty closes out the county’s summer celebrations with a street festival running from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. Festivities include a kids’ zone, vendors, food trucks, live music by Deep River Revival, and a hot dog eating contest. Fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m. Food trucks include: Tacos Mama Chava, Hot Cakes & Chicken, Honey Catering, Custom Corn, Shaved Paradise, Polar Ice, Donut NV.
