ASHEBORO — It’s time for the 2023 “Pray NC Pray Thursday Courthouse Prayer” services, which begin on July 13.
Each Thursday for six consecutive weeks, the public is invited onto the lawn at the Randolph County Historic Courthouse, 145 Worth Street, for scripture and prayer led by a different minister.
The prayer time is 7:20 a.m. to 7:35 a.m. each week.
Event organizers ask anyone to attend who is physically able to join in prayer with other believers that God will bring a great revival to our cities, county, state and nation.
The Pray NC Pray movement happening in Randolph County pushes for churches to knock down denominational walls to come together as one before God. The local organization says its prayer is that God would hear and honor the prayers of the community as local worshippers unite in prayer, building a strong foundation for better communities.
The Thursday Courthouse Prayer Ministers are as follows:
July 13 — Scott Jackson, Gangs to God Ministries.
July 20 — Todd Nance, Parks Crossroads Christian Church.
July 27 — Jason Baker, Ramseur Wesleyan Church.
Aug. 3 — Bryant Madren, Browers Wesleyan Church
Aug. 10 — Michael Trogdon, Kingdom Life Community Church.
Aug. 17 — Brian Allmon, Faith & Love Baptist Church
