78th Craven Family Reunion to be held Sunday

RAMSEUR — The Craven Family reunion will mark its 78th year with its in-person gathering this year scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 2, at 12:30 p.m.

The reunion will take place at the Holly Spring Friends Meeting Fellowship Hall, located at 2938 Holly Spring Road in Ramseur.

A covered dish meal will begin at 1 p.m. and the program will follow the lunch. 

Masks are optional. However, organizers will take safety precautions: Gloves will be provided at the beginning of the serving line, tables will be spaced apart and hand sanitizer will be available at each table.

The program includes the recognition of families present, memorials and a short presentation about graveyard and gravestone preservation. 

The Craven fellowship includes families from Randolph and surrounding counties.
