Highfalls Fiddlers Convention this Saturday in Robbins

ROBBINS — The 2026 Highfalls Fiddlers’ Convention has a new date, returning this Saturday, Feb. 28, to North Moore High School. Since 1921, this community has come together for good food, warm fellowship, and most importantly, great music.

First band prize is $500. First place individual prizes, both youth and adult, are $50. Miranda Smith is the promoter. Registration is from 4:30 to p.m. Youth competition begins at 5:30 p.m. Order of adult performances will be determined by a lottery drawing prior to competition.

Musicians, Eva & Danny Casstevens and Donna Hughes will serve as judges.

“We will have T-shirts for sale again this year as well as an award given in Pammy Lassiter’s memory,” Smith said. “After a few years of running this convention, it feels so good to have things run smoothly. We are very excited for this year with our new date and all the great music we get to hear!”

North Moore High School is located at 1504 N Moore Road, Robbins. Admission is $12 for adults, free for ages 18 and under. Cash only.
