Summer Cruise-In Series cranks up

ASHEBORO – The Asheboro Summer Cruise-in Series is returning for a fourth season.

Organized by Grounded Elegance Car Club (Michael Allred) and Brightside Gallery (Mary Murkin), the first event of the season on Saturday, April 22, from 7-10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Randolph County Courthouse, 176 E. Salisbury Street, Asheboro.

The theme of the evening will be cars, cruising, fellowship and Vendors Row.

A large part of the evening is always viewing beautiful cars parked on display in the parking lot and will also include shopping at vendors row.  

However, cruising up and down Fayetteville Street is where the event’s homage began. At least once during each evening, Michael Allred will lead a group of cars out onto Fayetteville Street to get the group back in the swing of cruising the drag.  

As always, these are equal opportunity cruising events. If it’s got wheels, it’s invited to join the fun.
