Take notice that a Petition for Adoption was filed by GAVIN HUNTER LANGLEY on the 17th day of August 2021, with the Clerk of Superior Court for Randolph County, Asheboro, NC, in the above entitled special proceeding. The Petition relates to a female child born on 1st day of May 2014 in Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC. The birth mother’s name is Valerie Grace Karriker and the minor child was conceived in Davie County, North Carolina on or around August 1, 2013.
TAKE NOTICE that you are required to make defense to such pleading no later than forty (40) days after the date of first publication of this notice, exclusive of such date. Upon your failure to do so, the Petitioners will apply to the Court for relief sought in the Petition. Any parental rights that you may have will be terminated upon the entry of the Decree of Adoption.
