Filings for 2026 North Carolina Primary continue

Filing continued last week for the 2026 North Carolina Primary set for March 3, 2026. Filing began on Dec. 1 and ends on Friday, Dec. 19.

A few new candidates entered races, including two new candidates for Randolph County Sheriff. Below are local filings through Friday, Dec. 12.
