No election surprises in Randolph County

Election Day results in Randolph County’s key races brought about no surprises in the heavily-Republican county as all Republican-held County Commissioner and NC Senate and NC House seats were retained by incumbents or new Republican candidates.

 

Overall, in North Carolina, according to figures through Nov. 8, 5,675, 346 voters cast ballots, which was 72% of the state’s 7,842,063 registered voters.

 

In Randolph County, 75,910 voters cast ballots, which was just under 77% of the 98,720 registered voters in Randolph.
