Pair of HELPS events scheduled in January

ASHEBORO — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Community Outreach, in conjunction with the Randolph County Public Library System’s Digital Services Librarian, will be presenting the HELPS program again for citizens about scams/frauds, ways to prevent them, and ways to protect themselves when using the Internet. 

Know someone who may benefit? Sessions have been scheduled for:

■  Jan. 15 at the Archdale Public Library, 10433 S. Main St., Archdale, at 2 p.m.

■ Jan. 22 at the Liberty Senior Center, 128 S. Fayetteville St., Liberty, at noon.
