Parking study ready for view; two public sessions scheduled

ASHEBORO — There will be two opportunities on Thursday, June 26, to receive information on the draft downtown parking study findings and recommendations.

The drop-in style sessions will be at the Asheboro Recreation Center (Upstairs Meeting Room) located at 148 North Street:

■ Morning Session: 9:30 a.m.

■ Afternoon Session: 2 p.m.

Both sessions are informal and will last two hours, with a short presentation at the beginning of each window.

Visitors are invited to stop in at any point during the session to review materials and share feedback.

If you are unavailable to attend but would like to speak with a member of the study team, contact Addie Corder at acorder@ci.asheboro.nc.us to set up an alternate time to review the plan document and recommendations.

The final report is expected to be presented at the July 10 city council meeting, following a review of public feedback.
