The Randolph County Sheriff's Office again has a box available for letters to Santa.

Sheriff's Department to hold Open House

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its annual Open House at 727 McDowell Rd., Asheboro, Dec. 8 from 6–8 pm. Citizens are invited to come out, and bring the kids for cookies with Santa again this year.

Some of the department's K9s will be present with their handlers. We will have the reading of the Christmas Story at 7 pm.

Back to perform will be the West Bend United Methodist Church Hand Bell Choir.

The RCSO is in its fourth annual office Deck the Door/Wall contest and those located in the main office will be on display along with pictures from our other locations.

The Sheriff’s Office is offering a drop box for letters to Santa again this year.

Children wanting to send letters to Santa Claus can drop off their letters at the RCSO, located at 727 McDowell Road, through Dec. 16,  Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, and also at 305 Balfour Drive in Archdale, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.

The mailbox will be just inside the first floor elevator lobby.

If children write a letter to Santa, they need to make sure that they put their address on the letter if they want Santa to send a reply.
