Six Arrested, Drugs and Guns Seized in Asheboro Search Warrant

ASHEBORO, N.C. (ACME NEWS) — Six people were arrested Thursday after Randolph County sheriff’s deputies seized drugs, firearms and cash during a search warrant at an Asheboro home. 

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit said it had been investigating drug distribution in the county. On Sept. 18, detectives — with help from the Criminal Interdiction Team, Patrol Units and the Emergency Response Team — executed a search warrant at the home of Eric Dale Tucker on  Lantern Dr., in Asheboro.

Inside, deputies reported finding methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, clonazepam, drug paraphernalia, two firearms with ammunition and U.S. currency.

Arrests and Charges

Eric Dale Tucker, 48 — Charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver Schedule II and IV controlled substances, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Tucker was held without bond due to pending charges.


Stephanie Annette Pallas, 43 — Charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony identity theft, two counts of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession, misdemeanor resisting a public officer and felony probation violation. Bond was set at $20,000 secured.


Quincy Quintez Julius, 36 — Charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession. Bond was set at $65,000 secured. Julius is on federal probation for firearm charges from a prior case.


Danny Ray Saunders, 69 — Charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession. Bond was set at $500 secured.


Marcell Pierre Alsbrook, 36 — Charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession. Held without bond due to pending charges.


Justin Dwayne Greene, 28 — Charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession, misdemeanor marijuana paraphernalia possession and misdemeanor simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance. Held without bond due to pending charges.


All six were taken to the Randolph County Detention Center. Their first appearances were scheduled for Sept. 19 in Randolph County District Court.
