FRANKLINVILLE — Alice Faye Allred Cook, 85, of Franklinville died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at her residence.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Whites Memorial Baptist Church in Franklinville, with Rev. Mark Beane and Rev. Alan Ritter officiating.
Alice was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Ramtex with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of the Whites Memorial Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Ridge Christian Church.
Alice enjoyed traveling all over the United States and went to Egypt, Italy and Ireland. She loved scrapbooking and going to thrift stores.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, William Madison and Louise Coker Allred; brothers, Franklin Allred, Billy Allred, Doyle Allred; and sister-in-law, Ratchanee Allred.
Survivors are sons, Terry Cook and wife Laraine of Franklinville, Garry Lynn Cook and wife Diane of New Hope; sisters, Zilla Wallace of Franklinville, Annette Kidd of Ramseur, Jo Gaye Cain and husband David of Coleridge; brother, Danel Allred and wife Judy of Ramseur; grandchildren, Amber Dorman and husband Nolan of Randleman, Regina Chriscoe and husband Andy of New Hope; longtime friend and traveling companion, Alexandria Bakarich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her body will lie in repose on Tuesday, Feb. 1, from 12-5 p.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home in Ramseur.
