BETTY LOU CRAVEN JOHNSON

ASHEBORO — Betty Lou Craven Johnson, 93, of Asheboro, died Feb. 27, 2025, at Asheboro Rehabilitation and Health Care in Asheboro.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Ramseur. Burial will follow at Norman Community Cemetery.

 

Betty was a native of Richmond County, born Nov. 23, 1931. She was a longtime resident of Randolph County and worked for 35 years with Central Telephone, which later became Brightspeed. 

 

In her free time, Betty loved spending time with her cat. 

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Ernest and Louise Warner Craven, and siblings, Dorothy Brower, Ailene Durham, Howard Craven, and Jethro Craven.

 

Survivors include nephews, Richard Brower of Asheboro, Johnny Brower of Ramseur, Steve Brower of Randleman, Ken Durham, Greg Durham; nieces, Jeanie Mullen of Raleigh, Mary Lou Canney.

 

Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
