ASHEBORO – Dorothy Wynn Freeman Lambe, age 90, of Asheboro passed away peacefully on Nov. 15, 2023, at The Randolph Hospice House.
She was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Eagle Springs, the daughter of the late William L. Freeman and Beulah Bernice Hinson.
Also preceding her in death are her husband, Rayvon Lambe; daughter, Wanda Kay Lambe; brothers, Warren Freeman and William (Bill) Freeman; and sisters, Susan Brown and Lela Ann White.
Dorothy worked with Klopman/Galey Lord for 50 years. She was an active member of West Chapel United Methodist Church and volunteered with numerous church functions. Dorothy enjoyed auctions, yard sales and the beaches of Hawaii.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Julius Rayvon Lambe, Darrell Lambe, Kenneth Lambe and Phillip Lambe; daughters, Karen Lambe Ingram and Zara Pullman (Winston); siblings that she loved dearly, Jessie Freeman (Katie) and Sarah Bennett; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous other beloved family and friends.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
