Georgia Leigh Skeen Staley

RAMSEUR — Georgia Leigh Skeen Staley, 83, of Ramseur, passed away on April 15, 2024, at Randolph Health, in Asheboro.

Funeral services were conducted on April 17 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating.  Burial followed at Randolph Memorial Park.
 

Born July 2, 1940, in Randolph County, Mrs. Staley was the daughter of the late Charles and Maggie Merritt Skeen.  She loved her dogs, crocheting, flowers and going out to eat.  
 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Staley was preceded in death by her son, John Michael Staley; sister, Betty Caviness; and brothers, Charles Skeen and Tommy Skeen.

Surviving are husband, John Calvin "J.C." Staley of the home; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece Pam Teague (Harold) of Seagrove.
