RANDLEMAN — James Causey "J.C" Bryant, 92, of Randleman passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at his daughter's home in Southern Pines.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Dr. Harold Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born in Moore County, NC, on Aug. 16, 1932, J.C. was the son of William Furman Bryant and Sennete Vandilla Allred Bryant.
He retired from Galey & Lord after 45 years of service. J.C. was a member of Whitehall Community Church for 27 years. He enjoyed fishing and going to the beach.
In addition to his parents, J.C. was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ellen Byrant ,and his second wife, Bertha Hinshaw Bryant.
Surviving are his daughter, Barbara Jean Bryant Morrison of Southern Pines; son, Jim Bryant (Kathy) of Woodstock, GA; step-daughters, Betty "B.J." McLain Rice of Winston-Salem, Cynthia Hinshaw Lovell of Seagrove; stepson, Mike Hinshaw of Randleman; grandchildren, Chris Morrison, Cari Morrison, Josh Bryant (Nicole); four step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Noah Morrison, Orion Morrison, Michael Bryant; and special friends, Lucille and Payton Gainey.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home.
