LUCY MAE WILLIAMS MOORE

RAMSEUR — Lucy Mae Williams Moore, 98, of Ramseur, passed away June 21, 2024, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.

A graveside service was held on June 23 at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Staley, with the Rev. Mark Beane officiating.

Lucy was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, retired from BB Walker Shoe Company and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Eli Williams and Lou Mattie "Lula" Wright Williams, and siblings, Wade Hampton Williams, Clarence Wesley Williams, Paul Ray Williams, Mary Louise Wright and Eula Lee Hicks.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Moore Brady and husband Phillip Howard Brady of Ramseur; sister, Eva Marie Williams Brady of Asheboro; grandchildren, Ashley Brent Brady and wife Patricia Beane Brady of Asheboro, Lauren Elizabeth Brady Walker and husband Peter Chandler Walker of Burlington; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Ashley Brady, Graem Howard Walker, Lucy Caroline Walker.

The family would like to express a special "thank you" to the staff of Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home for the care they have provided to Ms. Moore.
