Nancy Carol Morris Ellison

Nancy Carol Ellison, 81, of Asheboro died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at Ramseur Rehab & Healthcare in Ramseur.

Funeral Services are set for 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur, with Rev. Terry Giles officiating.

Burial will be at Pleasant Union Christian Church Cemetery in Denton.

Nancy was born on Jan. 19, 1943, daughter of the late Everett and Reva Bunting Morris. She was a native of Randolph County and was a long-time member of Franklinville Wesleyan Church. She loved the Lord and loved listening to gospel music. One of her passions was being the director for Christmas Plays, which she was involved with for many years. 

Nancy was a hard worker and was a part of the secretarial staff at Burlington Socks, which later became Kayser-Roth, for 55 years. She also worked part time at the Dollar Tree in Randleman. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Reva Bunting Morris; and her sister, Joann Morris.
Survivors are her sister, Betsy Craven and husband Reid of Ramseur; and several cousins.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Ramseur Rehab and Healthcare, as well as to Hospice of Randolph County for their exceptional care for Ms. Ellison.

Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, at Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
