Norah Maldonado Gutierrez

ASHEBORO — Norah Maldonado Gutierrez, 76, passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at Randolph Hospice. 

Born in Puerto Rico on May 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Augusto Maldonado and Aurelia Gutierrez.

Norah attended J Colegio San Carlos and Colegio San Carlos, both in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age in Largo, Florida, and was a member of Iglesia De Dios Emanuel.
She enjoyed reading the Bible, serving at church and listening to Christian music. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rafael Parrilla; sister, Luz M Maldonado; and brother, Heriberto Maldonado.

Norah is survived by her children, Rafael Parrilla, Rafael E. Parrilla, Roberto Parrilla and Dinora Parrilla; grandchildren, Ricardo Gutierrez, Yazleen Gutierrez, Aleysha Parrilla, Alexis Parrilla, Rafael E Parrilla Jr., Alberto M. Martinez and Derek M. Cuebas; great-grandchildren, Aiden Alexis Parrilla and Paula Sofia Parrilla; daughters-in-law, Marilyn Viera and Devens Cuebas; son-in-law, Doro Montelongo; and nieces, Iris Y Sanchez and Marisol Pellot.
