Patsy Lorraine Bingham Canter

ASHEBORO — Patsy Lorraine Bingham Canter, age 81, of Asheboro passed away on Dec. 24, 2021, at North Pointe Assisted Living.

Mrs. Canter was born in Forsyth County on July 5, 1940, to Hal and Edna Walker Bingham.  She was retired from Bingham Lumber Company and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Asheboro. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Trotter and husband Todd of Asheboro; sons, Jeff Canter of Greensboro and Mark Canter of Denton; grandchildren, Rebekah Canter, Patrick Canter, Cathleen Canter, Emma Trotter, Annabeth Trotter and Shea Davidson; great grandchildren, Collin, Jack and Luke; sister, Diane McGee and husband W.C. of Advance; and brothers, Steve Bingham, Stan Bingham and Jim Bingham all of Denton.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Penny Rogers and the staff of North Pointe for their love and care of Patsy.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Brian Rummage officiating.
