Roger Arnold Robbins

ASHEBORO — Roger Arnold Robbins, 81, of Asheboro passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Balfour Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating. A private burial will be held at Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Roger was born on Feb. 26, 1944, in Guilford County, the son of the late Sterling Lane Robbins and Dorothy Harris Robbins. 

He retired from Energizer working as a machine operator. Roger was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Carolina Tar Heels. He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Foster; and brother, Ronnie Robbins.

Roger is survived by his wife, Carolyn Robbins; son, Derek Robbins and wife Teresa; daughter, Andrea Robbins; sisters, Delores Peck, Linda Greene, Brenda Pollard; grandchildren, Laura Mann and husband Kelyn, Kyle Robbins, Thomas Robbins and wife Brittany, Elizabeth Coffman and husband J.D., Ryan Heaverly and wife Raini; great -grandchildren, Brody Mann, Aria Mann, Fynleigh Mann, Emmylynn Heaverly, Jay Coffman, and Juliette Coffman.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service. Mr. Robbins will lie in repose from 12-4 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home.
