Roxa Cheek Amick

LIBERTY — Roxa Cheek Amick, age 95, of Liberty went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021.

She was an active member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church and will be remembered for her sweet and generous spirit.

Her graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery, with Howard Spray officiating. She will lie in repose at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, from 12-5:00 p.m.

Roxa was the daughter of the late Perry A. Daniels and Claytie Feezor Daniels and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Cheek and W.C. Way; and brothers, Jack Daniels and Gene Daniels; and infant granddaughter.

Surviving is her husband, Reece Amick; daughters, Sue Shelton (Jimmy) and Sandy Trull (Jim); sons, Eric Cheek (Nancy) and Dave Cheek (Cathy); step-son, Rick Amick (Lynnette); eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Grace Cheek and Doris Daniels.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Cindy Rowell for her loving and compassionate care over the last months of Roxa's life.
