Sherry L. Apple

Sherry L. Apple, born on Sept. 19, 1955, in Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Asheboro, North Carolina, at the age of 70.

Sherry was a dedicated professional who contributed greatly to her community through her work as an Office Manager for Blase Chiropractor, as a Substitute Teacher at Asheboro High School and as a member of the Women's Republican Party in Randolph County. Her kindness and dedication were evident in every role she undertook.

Outside of her professional life, Sherry cherished her trips to New York with her close friends Peggy and Rita. She had a passion for shopping and enjoyed the vibrant experiences these adventures offered.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charlie and Mildred Alford. 

Sherry is survived by her brothers, Gary Alford and his wife Sharon, and Ricky Alford and his wife Marybeth. Her dear friends Peggy and Rita also survive her. Sherry's outgoing spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will take place on March 28, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. at Midstate Cremation and Funeral Service, located at 304 Lanier Ave., Asheboro, NC 27203. A private burial will be scheduled for a later date.

Sherry's warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
