Teresa Anne Russell Fogleman

RANDLEMAN — Teresa Anne Russell Fogleman, age 79, of Randleman entered her Heavenly home on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021.

Anne was born June 8, 1942, in Greensboro, NC, and was a 1960 graduate of Randleman High School. She worked with Randolph County Schools and retired from Petty Enterprises. 

Anne was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to Walmart and Waffle House, watching Hallmark and the Atlanta Braves — pulling for her favorite player, Freddie Freeman. 

She was a loving granny, mom, sister and friend. She was fondly known as "Mama Anne" or Granny to many, was a joy to be around and always had an infectious smile and laugh. Anne will be deeply missed.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. at New Salem United Methodist Church, 623 New Salem Road, Randleman, with Pastor Johnny Lord and Pastor Joyce Bunn. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

She was the daughter of the late Arch and Theresa Scott Russell and was also preceded in death by her husband, Basil Leo "Toad" Fogleman.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Theresa "Terri" Fogleman Henderson (Gene); Russell Fogleman (Julie); sister, Martha Russell; brothers, John Russell (Wanda), C.B. Russell (Anna); grandchildren, Olivia Poupore Hatfield (David), Gavin Poupore (Lauren); Alec Poupore and Cody Fogleman; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Amelia Poupore; step-grandchildren, Ashley Henderson and Jonathan Henderson; step-great-grandchildren, Katilynn Hatfield, Abby Britt and Payden King; and many nieces and nephews.
