Tony Edward Kinney

RAMSEUR — Tony Edward Kinney, 54, of Ramseur died on Feb. 12, 2023, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral Services, were held Feb. 16 at Ramseur Wesleyan Church. Officiating were Rev. Jason Baker and Rev. Jason Bowser. Burial was in the Kildee Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Ramseur.

Tony was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, employed with Technimark, was a member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church and enjoyed spending time in the gym.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Allred Kinney; paternal grandparents, Lacy and Maude Allred Kinney; maternal grandparents, James Otis and Minnie Snider Edwards.

Survivors include Tony’s son, Christian Kinney and fiance Melisanda Daly of Michigan; mother, Linda Edwards Kinney of Ramseur; brothers, Michael Todd Kinney and wife Laurie of Kingsport, TN, Jason Allred Kinney and wife Iliana of Ramseur, Brandon Lee Kinney and friend Angie of Asheboro; special cousin/sister, Lisa Edwards Hodgin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The body laid in repose Feb. 15 at the Loflin Funeral Home. The family received friends following the service on Thursday at Ramseur Wesleyan Church and other times at the residence.
