*Tanner Marsh had three hits, including a two-run homer, in Asheboro’s 7-2 loss to North Davidson. Chandler Macon had two hits.

*Ben Medinger had two hits and three RBIs in Uwharrie Charter’s 8-4 win over Westchester Country Day. Peyton McCollum had two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs. Jose Ramirez pitched two innings of relief to get the win.

ZOOKEEPERS SHOWDOWN

*Pierce Leonard tripled twice and drove in four runs as Eastern Randolph romped past North Moore 13-5. Alex Kivett had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Ethan Frye and Lucas Smith each had two hits and an RBI. Samuel Asbill allowed four runs in six innings.

*Sean Jennings threw six shutout innings, allowing three hits and striking out seven, in Wheatmore’s 9-0 win over Jordan-Matthews. Mason Rich and Aiden Byrd each got two hits and two RBIs. Jake Parks had two hits, including a double, and RBI.

*Eli Gravely had three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs in Southwestern Randolph’s 12-10 loss to Chapel Hill. Grant Kirk had two hits, including a triple, and RBI. Tyler Parks had two hits and Kamden Carter had a two-run double.

*Kahlin Graham had two hits in Eastern Randolph’s 11-1 loss to Apex Friendship.

*Rowan Wagner had two hits and an RBI in Wheatmore’s 6-4 loss to Chapel Hill. Jake Parks and Clay Hill each had two hits for the Warriors.

*Carter got three hits, including a double, and three RBIs as Southwestern Randolph outlasted North Moore 10-9. Kirk had a triple while Adam Cole and Gravely doubled. Jonah Campbell got a save by getting two outs in the seventh.

*Andrew Canter pitched a five-inning six-hitter with seven strikeouts and got two hits at the plate in Providence Grove’s 13-0 rout of Jordan-Matthews. Joe Coltrane had three hits for the Patriots. Lemuel Coltrane and Tyler Foust each had two hits with three RBIs. Josh Ward had two hits and an RBI.
