Eastern Randolph and Randleman continued on their unbeaten paths with their showdown looming in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Asheboro keeps cranking out the offense but can’t register the Ws.

Providence Grove 10
John Kirkpatrick threw four touchdowns — three of them to Chase Farlow — as the undefeated Tigers rolled past Providence Grove. Kirkpatrick finished 9-of-11 for 164 yards, his other touchdown pass going to Brayden Gladden. Daylan Atkins had 4 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown. Tristan Chriscoe also had a rushing touchdown.
Jackson Lawver had a rushing touchdown for Providence Grove and Carson Jones kicked a 36-yard field goal.
Eastern Randolph 57
Trinity 13
Cade McCallum tossed three touchdown passes as the undefeated Wildcats rolled to a runaway win. Lucas Smith had two rushing touchdowns and a two-point conversion.
Trinity quarterback Noah Bradley threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Nazir Staton and Cam Nelson returned a fumble 45 yards for a touchdown.
Central Davidson 56
Asheboro 28
The Blue Comets couldn’t contain Central Davidson’s double-wing ground attack and lost their fifth game of the season. Logan Laughlin threw for 149 yards and a touchdown but was intercepted twice. Elijah Woodle caught 5 passes for 92 yards. Dallas Brinton added 3 catches for 37 yards. Quincey Lee had 46 yards on 10 carries.
Southwestern Randolph 42
Wheatmore 12
Brody Sheppard ran for a touchdown and blocked a punt to lead the Cougars. Devonte Jenkins had a rushing touchdown and Carson Wood had a touchdown reception.
Connor Benton threw for 205 yards and a touchdown while adding a rushing touchdown to lead the Warriors. Bentley Mills had a touchdown catch while Danny Craig had 7 receptions for 129 yards.
