In Asheboro's loss to Northern Guilford back in early October, Connor Brinton scores with help from Kaleb Rosenblatt. NG went on to win the conference, but the Comets finished 7-3 overall and are in the playoffs.

Dallas Brinton threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more as Asheboro whipped Southern Guilford 37-0. Brinton was 9-of-15 for 128 yards and had 80 yards rushing. D.J. Scott had both TD receptions. Jayden Spruill ran 3 times for 48 yards and a touchdown. Garrison Cheek had 40 yards on 4 carries, caught 4 passes for 75 yards and had an interception. Jefferson Aguilar kicked a 33-yard field goal and was 4-of-5 on extra points. William Sherrod had an interception and Luke Brumley made eight solo tackles.
Southwestern Randolph 32, N. Moore 13
Brody Sheppard ran for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns in Southwestern Randolph’s 32-13 win over North Moore. Levi Dalke threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Devonte Dukes to give the Cougars a 12-7 lead with 3.7 seconds left in the first half. Dalke also had a rushing TD and added an interception on defense.
Eastern Randolph 49, Jordan-Matthews 0
James Combs ran 7 times for 74 yards and 4 touchdowns as Eastern Randolph routed Jordan-Matthews 49-0. Zeb Meadows and Hayden Payne each had a rushing TD. Cade McCallum was 7-of-10 for 134 yards, including a 10-yard scoring pass to Mason Carson. Joel Salinas was a perfect 7-of-7 on extra point kicks.
Providence Grove 31, Thomasville 9
Nick Straughn ran 25 times for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Providence Grove trounced Thomasville 31-9. Jackson Lawver threw a 47-yard TD pass to Holden Swift and added a rushing touchdown. Swift also had an interception. Carson Jones kicked a 33-yard field goal.
Wheatmore 34, Trinity 7
Connor Benton was 16-of-25 for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns with 3 interceptions in Wheatmore’s 34-7 win over Trinity. The Warrior QB also had 67 yards rushing on 13 carries. Gavin McPherson ran 8 times for 109 yards and 3 TDs. Bentley Mills caught 5 passes for 138 yards and a TD. Collin Dodd caught 7 passes for 70 yards and Zach Helton had the other TD catch. Kenny Hoover and Helton each had an interception.
Trinity’s Kenny Fuller had two interceptions and Jax Dillard had one.
