“OK. Full disclosure. I watched WWE’s “Bad Blood” pay-per-view Saturday night and taped the Michigan-Washington football game to watch after. Not sure what it means, but I was wrong on so many picks Friday and Saturday, maybe I needed a football break.”
ASHEBORO AT CENTRAL DAVIDSON — Central Davidson has scored 153 points in the past four games. AHS has given up 138 points in its last four games. The Blue Comets could very well win their final three games. But this one will be tough. CD, 47-35.
TRINITY AT EASTERN RANDOLPH — ER was running on all cylinders last week and I look for that to continue this week. ER, 47-14.
RANDLEMAN AT PROVIDENCE GROVE — PG has the ability to win the time of possession and the offense was strong against Trinity. RHS has been strong against everyone. RHS, 34-14.
GEORGIA TECH AT UNC — A second straight ACC loss at home? Yes. GT, 37-24.
SYRACUSE AT NC STATE — I wish I knew who will be at QB for the Wolfpack, but either should be enough at home against a good Syracuse team. N.C. State, 30-24.
FALCONS AT PANTHERS — I have to admit, the Panthers look like a football team under the Red Rocket. Not a very good football team, but a football team. Falcons, 34-20.

“Hallelujah! I finally got some games to fall the right way, but then again, I gave a couple away. We felt sorry for his start and gave Dennis a little head start, not like he knows what he’s doing, either. But somehow, I’m finding my way through and I’m just sticking around. Like duct tape. It’ll fix anything ... um, anybody got some scissors to cut me loose?”
ASHEBORO AT CENTRAL DAVIDSON — Big test for the Blue Comets. They’ve been close in games, but CD just hung a 63 on Ledford. AHS may be right there; can they win on the road? Asheboro, 29-28.
TRINITY AT EASTERN RANDOLPH — ER has been a little off track by ER standards lately. Somehow I think at home and against Trinity, they’re gonna sharpen some claws. ER, 31-17.
RANDLEMAN AT PROVIDENCE GROVE — Tigers better not get caught looking ahead. PG’s shown the can put some points up. RHS, 27-13.
GEORGIA TECH AT UNC — Man, the Tar Heels were so hyped ... okay, well, their media grads who make up a big voting block did. Their heels are just stuck to the ground too much. GT, 34-22.
SYRACUSE AT NC STATE — The Wolfpack won’t right the ship again this week. The ’Cuse, 24-21.
FALCONS AT PANTHERS — Well. Homer wants to pick the Black and Blue, but the reality is that the Dirty Birds are likely to leave the Panthers black and blue. (I did say last week was probably the last pick for them this year). Falcons, 30-20.

“I have to say, the only fun I had last weekend was watching Vanderbilt upset Alabama. And watch that Alabama player lose it at the end, particularly when the ref set the ball for the final play and this guy kicks it down the field! It was stupid but also a bit cathartic for fans this year of ASU, FSU, NCSU, the Dallas Cowboys, the Carolina Panthers, etc., etc., because we all want to kick this season down the field.”
ASHEBORO AT CENTRAL DAVIDSON — Should be another fun time for fans who don’t like defense. Central Davidson, 45-31.
TRINITY AT EASTERN RANDOLPH — I’m not sure I’ve picked Trinity right all year. I am pretty sure I will this week. ER, 35-14.
RANDLEMAN AT PROVIDENCE GROVE — The Tigers have been winning all year, but they still seem a little vulnerable to me. Last week they started to put it all together. It continues this week. RHS, 45-13.
GEORGIA TECH AT UNC — You know the Heels are going to win one of these games at some point. But do I have the guts to pick them here? No. GT, 41-27.
SYRACUSE AT NC STATE — I thought the Wolfpack was going to have a good year this year. As my father used to say, “That’s what you get for thinking.” Syracuse, 33-30.
FALCONS AT PANTHERS — Could be a letdown game for the Falcons ... except they’re playing the Panthers. Falcons, 31-23.

“If you need me, I’m the one walking around town with a paper bag over my head. And, no, it’s not a Halloween costume. #MeganFail”
ASHEBORO AT CENTRAL DAVIDSON — I’m picking homefield advantage. (Sorry, Blue Comets.) CD, 28-27 (OT).
TRINITY AT EASTERN RANDOLPH — Bullogs had a tough loss last week to PG. It doesn’t get any easier this week on the road against a stingy, unbeaten Wildcat squad. ER, 31-24.
RANDLEMAN AT PROVIDENCE GROVE — Despite a win last week, it’s going to be a challenge for the Patriots to defend their home turf against the undefeated Tigers. Randleman, 42-24.
GEORGIA TECH AT UNC — Ramblin’ Wreck makes it a Tobacco Road sweep. (Why didn’t I pick them last week?!?) GT, 34-14.
SYRACUSE AT NC STATE — Wolfpack’s QB suffered a scary injury last week, and the Orange knocked off UNLV. So ... ? Syracuse, 34-28.
FALCONS AT PANTHERS — Wouldn’t it be crazy if the Falcons won on the last play of the game? Actually, no. Falcons, 28-27.
