RANDLEMAN AT ASHEBORO — Blue Comets showed a lot of fight last week in a winover Providence Grove. Randleman has been showing a lot of fight for a long time. Randleman, 34-14.

CENTRAL DAVIDSON AT EASTERN RANDOLPH — CD has been giving up 25 points a game. That number is going to increase by a few when the Wildcats are done. ER, 42-12.

SW RANDOLPH AT ALBEMARLE — Albemarle continues its trek against Randolph County teams, having lost to AHS and Trinity so far. SWR makes it 3-0 for Randolph County teams. SWR, 28-20.

NC STATE AT CLEMSON — Boy, this would be a big win for the Wolfpack, establishing itself as a threat for the ACC crown. But it’s not going to happen. Clemson, 35-20.

JAMES MADISON AT UNC — Well, James Madison is undefeated. UNC, 47-14.

PANTHERS AT RAIDERS — If I were traveling to Las Vegas and I played for the Panthers, the game would be the last thing on my mind. Las Vegas, 21-14.

James Madison at UNC — This may be another one of those FCS scares we’ve seen this season. UNC, 31-27.

Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders — I want to, but what I want wouldn’t be anywhere near reality ... but maybe it’ll look better this week? Raiders, 27- 14.

NC State at No. 22 Clemson — The Wolfpack scraped by Louisiana Tech. The Tigers are coming off a bye. Poor N.C. State. Clemson, 34-17

James Madison at UNC — The Tar Heels can beat this Jim dude, right? UNC, 34-28

Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders — If the Raiders start their second-string, maybe the Panthers have a chance! Vegas, 32-10

NC State at No. 22 Clemson — I’d like to see State win this game, but after that egg laid against Tennessee, I’m in the “I’ll have to see it to believe it” category. Clemson, 34-23

James Madison at UNC — UNC Charlotte, NC Central, James Madison ... who’s doing UNC’s schedule? The president of the booster club? UNC, 27-20

Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders — It’s going to be a long season for the Panthers, so just watch the games like it’s preseason and look for positives. In a few weeks, I may doing the same thing with the Cowboys. Raiders, 33-20.
