ASHEBORO — The Randolph County 2025 Official Travel Guide was revealed Jan. 15 to the Board of Directors of the Randolph County Tourism Development Authority.
Melody Varner of the TDA and Richard Schoenberger of Manor House Creations presented the guide, which folds out to reveal photos and descriptions of Randolph County tourism sites.
The cover photo is of silo art on two grain bins at Linbrook Heritage Estate in Trinity, produced by Christoph Johnson, who writes about the project.
The “Welcome to Randolph County” letter is written by Stevie Cox, Trinity city manager.
Open the travel guide and find a top panel that shows photos of Asheboro sites including the NC Zoo, Sunset Theatre, Richland Creek Zipline and Pisgah Covered Bridge.
Also listed are the NC Aviation Museum, American Classic Motorcycle Museum, Bicentennial Park and McCrary Ballpark.
Next is Petty Family Attractions in Randleman. Richard Petty is shown with his iconic No. 43 race car and happy children are celebrating Victory Junction. Also mentioned are Randleman’s annual NC Food Truck Championship, concerts at Commerce Square Park, fishing at Randleman Lake and access to the Deep River State Trail.
Seagrove Pottery is featured along with Carolina Bronze Sculpture Foundry. Also mentioned are Potters’ Pumpkin Patch Trail, Tea with Seagrove Potters, Pottery Event Weekend, Seagrove Orchids, B3 Artisan Wares and Studio, The General Wine & Brew, Asheboro Popcorn Co. and Seagrove Cafe.
