New mural unveiled at Eastside Park

A new mural covering all four sides of the Eastside Park restroom facilities in Asheboro was unveiled on Saturday. 

The Carver Center, Randolph Arts Guild, City of Asheboro and RhinoLeap collaborated on the mural project. 

Mural project organizer Marquez Cassidy commissioned the mural as the first phase of beautifying Eastside Park.

Artists Marcus Lowery and Leon Rucker used bright, vibrant colors to showcase what the park means to the Eastside community.
